Former General Aaron Murray named 18U Head Coach

The Northeast Generals are excited to announce the hiring of Aaron Murray.  Aaron is rejoining the Generals after having a stint on the NAHL Generals during the 2016-17 season.  In 16 games played for the Generals the 6’3 D man had 2 goals and 1 assists for 3 points.  Aaron joined Stevenson University in 2017-2018 and had a standout 4 year career.

 

In 93 games a Stevenson, Aaron had 11 goals, 49 assists and 60 points.  In addition to his great numbers Aaron collected a lot of hardware including:

 

2017-18 - USCH All Rookie Team

2018-19 - USCH All Conference 2nd Team

2019-20 - MAC Defensive player of the year, First team all conference 

2020-21 - MAC Defensive player of the year, First team all conference

 

At the conclusion of his terrific NCAA career Aaron joined the staff at Castleton University as an Assistant Coach.

 

Aaron brings his wealth of experience and hockey knowledge back to the Generals where he will serve as NAHL Assistant Coach and the Head Coach of the 18U Generals Academy.
