The Northeast Generals proud members of the North American Hockey League are proud to announce that Forward Brandon Spaulding has committed to play NCAA hockey for Skidmore College.

Brandon joined the Generals in a January trade with the New Hampshire Mountain Kings.  Spaulding made his veteran presence felt immediately.  In 17 games with the Generals Brandon has registered 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points.  On the season Brandon has 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points.

Northeast Generals Head Coach Bryan Erikson said “My only regret with Brandon is that I didn’t get to Coach him longer.  He is a coaches dream.  He does everything well.  He forechecks hard, defends well, pushes the pace and just plays a great 200 foot game.  He is a pro.  A veteran junior hockey player that understands exactly how to prepare and play at this level.  He has set a great example for our younger guys and his impact has been and will continue to be significant!  We know Skidmore is getting a great player and person.  He will have a big impact from Day 1!  Excited to watch him at the next level.”
