The Northeast Generals are proud to announce the tendering of 2007-born forward Filip Pilastos for the 2026-27 season.
Pilastos, from Fort Wayne, IN, is currently in his second year playing for the Indiana Elite 18U AAA program, where he has 28 points (13g-15a) in 23 games this season.
“We’re very excited to welcome Filip to the Generals organization. He comes from a tremendous program in Indiana Elite under the tutelage of Brian Gratz, so we know we’re getting a player who works exceptionally hard, can create offense, and play a responsible defensive game. Over the last couple of seasons watching Filip, we’ve seen him grow into a dynamic forward that can be trusted in every situation. He is a tremendous teammate and person as well, something we value greatly. We look forward to him bringing his style of play to Canton and being an excellent addition to our family,” said Director of Scouting Eric Welles.
The 5’9, 178lbs, right-shot forward currently sits in second on the Indiana Elite in goals and points, matching the same ranks he finished at the end of his rookie year last season, with 95 points (34g-61a) in just 63 games played.
“I am extremely honoured and excited to have tendered with the Northeast Generals and am looking forward to being part of a great organization,” said Pilastos.
The Northeast Generals and the Town of Canton would like to welcome Filip and his family to the organization and community.
