The Northeast Generals of the NA3HL are proud to announce that 3 year Forward Caiden Hess has committed to play his NCAA Hockey at New England College.
Hess joined the Generals in 2021-22 and made an immediate impact. Caiden put up 41 points in 41 games. In year 2 he was even better, putting up 37 points in 31 games. And in his 3rd and final season with the Generals Caiden put up 30 points, including 13 goals. The Generals made it to the Fraser Cup in all 3 of Caiden’s years with the team. He helped set the tone for the team both on and off the ice. His 108 career points is good for 11th all time. Caiden’s name is all over the record books as he settles into the top 12 in goals, and assist’s and is 3rd all time in PIM’s. His strong play also earned him a call up to the NAHL team were he played extremely well.
“Caiden is a warrior. He bleeds blue and orange. He is just a great kid that is a proven winner. He plays hard and with grit on every shift and always set the tone both on and off the ice for his teammates. His team first attitude was contagious in our room and he was a incredible leader for us. I am proud of what Caiden accomplished here and what he helped the Generals accomplish. New England College is getting a player that will do everything in his power to help the program win. Really excited to watch Caiden play his style at the next level.” Said Darryl Locke the NA3HL Head Coach.
GM Bryan Erikson added “very proud of Caiden. He is everything you want in a person and player. So selfless both on and off the ice. Just a great ambassador for our program. We are going to miss him a lot next year but are very excited for him to continue he journey at the NCAA level”
